FLAGArainbow in all skies

Your bodies
In my life in my mind
Ache and laugh
Eternal photograph
Pull the heartstrings
Learn to sing
My friends I love you
I don’t know how but I love you.

When you don’t know what to say you can say nothing. I hear it.
You find me alone on the side of the road because you were there alone on the side of the road too.
You find me on the mountain, because you were on the mountain
You find me in the gutter laughing and we roll in the filth, radiant.
You hurt me perfectly.
You and me
Stones falling from some sky, cast headlong we break the water and fall to the depths. I see you.

I probably haven’t done enough for you.
I probably wont.
But I will do more than I can
I will collect the tears and witness the fires
That scorch our lives.
I will cry for you.
I will laugh on the tightrope, on the cliff, playing at the edge,
That we all walk.
This love for you playing at the edges
Children with stories etched onto their faces
Wandering in their homes
Home in the wandering

When you read this
Feel my hand in yours
My mouth full upon yours
As I shout these words
And they are lost in the wind of the everyday
